English for Health Care Professionals Program
The English for Healthcare Program aims at developing English language skills in medical settings. It targets employees of healthcare institutions, centers, and NGOs, medical centers, and hospitals.
The Program is divided into three levels:
This level enhances and refines participants’ command of the English language required in a healthcare environment. Participants develop competence in reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
This level develops participants’ speaking and listening comprehension skills. It also focuses on building medical and healthcare jargon. Day-to-day topics are incorporated to establish the needed communicative competence.
This level optimizes the use of oral communication and writing skills. It incorporates communicating for consultation and examination purposes, presenting diagnosis and treatment cases, and writing case histories, referral letters, and other related documents.
