LAU-CE Summer Camp 2019 General Policy

The 2019 summer camp will be offered for children ages: 5 to 12

Duration:  July 8 and to August 21, 2019,

All camp sessions meet five days per week, Monday - Friday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM) (Except on Holidays)

Participants can register for one, two, three, four, five or six-week sessions 

Enrollment is limited on a first come-first served basis.

Summer Camp Activities and Attendance Requirements:

Children will participate in many incredibly new and varied activities, including:

Sports: Basketball, Dance, Swimming, Family Safety Program (FSP), Games, Tennis, and much more ……

Edutainment: Healthcare, Math, Arts and Crafts, Cooking, Music, Theater, Astronomy, Character Education and much more ………

Kindly note that the LAU Summer Camp is a unique standardized program in which children are expected to participate in all registered sessions, for there are no make-up sessions for the missing days.

Registration requirements:

1- Online Application Form - Before June 10, 2019

2- Passport photos (size 3x4cm) of the child and people responsible for the pick-up

3- Either Lebanese Family Civil Status إخراج قيد عائلي    or one copy of the ID/or passport of the child, Father, and Mother

Discount Policy

 Early Bird:

10% discount for early bird registration and payment prior to June 21, 2019, as per below-listed fees. (Table 2)

Alumni Discount

LAU Alumni are granted 20% as per below-listed fees. (Table 3)

Alumni are kindly requested to provide their full name (family name/maiden name, first name and middle name), ID number if available as a proof of being LAU Alumni, in addition to their relation to the child (mother or father).

In order to be entitled for the summer camp discount, alumni should have the alumni ID + membership in order to be considered active members. However, If not, please contact the alumni office for further arrangement at alumni.relations@lau.edu.lb

Discount will be processed upon registration only; no refund can be made after payment of fees.  

Statement of Fees and Payment Schedule

Statement of fees are prepared 10 days after the official submission of the application form and are to be collected only from CE office and paid at the LAU’s Business Office/Cashier

Payment Schedule: Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM. to 12:00 noon

Reservation is considered finalized once payment and all the documents are officially filed at LAU.

Payment for participants living Outside Lebanon:

Money transfer is applicable only to those living outside Lebanon. You can pay through a bank transfer or wire the transfer to the following account:

Please specify the name of the child on the money transfer

Make sure that the net amount received by LAU in U.S. Dollars equals the amount of stated fees.     i.e. bank charges should be added.

You are kindly requested to send by email a scanned copy of the money transfer in order to track registration.

Registration is considered finalized only when payment of tuition fees is settled.

Refund and Cancellation Policy:

For valid reasons only, the refund should be requested prior to the starting date of the camp. No refunds will be made afterward.

Refund will be made either:

Transfer charges will be paid by the beneficiary (i.e. by You).

Pick-up Policy:

A recent photo of each of the mentioned people on the child’s application form to be submitted to the CE. Not complying with the aforementioned pick-up policy, NO person is entitled to do the pick-up.
